Water pumps
Borehole data required before quoting a pump
Collect depth, levels, yield, diameter and water quality to avoid an incompatible pump.
When to use this reference
Use this list when the customer provides only total depth or desired power, without a pumping test or data from the existing installation. The goal is to separate confirmed project facts from commercial assumptions before comparing models or requesting a quotation.
Technical checks
Total depth is not pumping head. Dynamic level, sustainable yield, internal diameter, installation depth, solids, salinity and water destination determine selection. Record the source of every value and treat missing data as pending, never as a confirmed default.
- Request the borehole report or test.
- Confirm internal diameter and casing.
- Record distance and elevation to the tank.
- Analyze water where sand or corrosion is present.
